Welcome to the Barking Chapel website

Situated in a wonderful position overlooking the tye at Barking (adjacent to the garage).  Barking Chapel is a free evangelical church which holds to the historic christian faith as revealed in the Bible.
We believe that God's good news is just as relevant today as it ever was and invite all who do not worship with another local church already, to join us in discovering what God has to say today.

Our main Sunday service is at 10.30 am. At this service we will come to God in prayer; hear God's word from the bible; sing hymns and songs, old and new and there will also be a short word for the children, who are then either welcome to stay or go into their own group.

Most of our services are led by our pastor Graham Steward.  About once a month our service is lead by another member of our fellowship or a visiting preacher. We also have evening services on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.  These begin at 6.00 pm., apart from our Cafe Church services which begin at 5.00 pm.  Please do check the Events and Services page of the website for the most up to date information.

As well as meeting on a Sunday we have numerous other activities taking place during the week.
